About the Digby Area Skating Club
Our club has been around for 50+ years, operating out of the Digby Arena. We are a non-profit organization, a member of Skate Canada and operated by volunteers which makes up our executive board. The club employs two skating coaches who are certified by the National Coaching Certification Program.
We take pride in helping our skaters develop the basic skills for any kind of skating to advance figure skating techniques. We offer different programs, depending on the skaters pervious training and what they wish to pursue in their skating future. The Skate Canada programs are developed with incentives & awards for the skaters to see their personal growth & achievements, while encouraging fitness & fun.
